Carrie began her professional journey in the field of dentistry in Israel in 1981, working for four years as a clinical assistant and translator for a British dentist. When she arrived in Eugene in 1987, she began working for a local laboratory, and discovered a passion for dental laboratory technology. In 2006, Carrie founded Birch Dental Laboratory. Carrie is a Certified Dental Technician through the National Board of Certification (NBC) with a specialization in crown and bridge. She is also the Executive Director for the Oregon Association of Dental Laboratories (OADL), and is a member of the National Association of Dental Laboratories (NADL).
