Danny Yao is a dynamic and results-driven executive with over 20 years of experience in sales, management, and leadership within the medical and dental technology sectors. Currently, he serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Digital Arches, where he has been at the helm since March of 2020, steering the company with a strategic vision focused on innovation and growth.
Together with his co-founder, Dr. Russell Crockett, they developed OPTISPLINT and ARCHTRACER, industry changing products that have catalyzed the shift to digital workflows for fixed full arch prosthetics or All-on-X. Since their release in 2023 and 2024, these two products have generated more than 5 million in revenue and have been used in thousands of All-on-X cases around the world.
Prior to his current role, Danny was a Clinical Sales Specialist at NDX nSequence, where he developed a love for All-on-X digital innovation and set him on the path to revolutionize that niche. His career includes the development of ride or die fans for Straumann at various residency programs in California, spearheading the adoption of reciprocal endodontics at Dentsply and introducing American clinicians to high quality and low cost dental implants from Korea when they first arrived stateside at Dentium.
Danny's dedication to excellence, strategic mindset, and commitment to community service make him a highly respected and valuable leader. He holds an MBA and was a Dean’s Scholar at the UC Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology from UCLA. In addition to his professional achievements, Danny is actively involved in community service, volunteering his time coaching youth basketball in Orange County.
