Became a Dental Laboratory Technician in 1971. After Laboratory School he moved to Salt Lake City Utah, and started working for two Master Technicians who had just immigrated to America from Germany. After three years he started his own Laboratory, employing ten technicians. After selling that laboratory, he started a high-end ceramics laboratory called Cottonwood Dental Ceramic. During that time, he lectured, taught hands-on courses, and spent time teaching work flow, quality control, and time management throughout Canada, the US, and South America. He has authored articles in Lab Management Today and Dentistry Today. Throughout the 2,000,s, he has worked on product development and working with a small number of Doctors. Currently working in his small lab and partnering with Scott Gallagher producing and marketing model/die, and articulating systems, for both stone and printed models. Spends time with his wife Katherine between Salt Lake City and Beaufort South Carolina. Greatest joy is teaching his children and grandchildren about life in the mountains. Fishing and serving in his church with family has brought abundant happiness.
