Erin Popov , RG, CDT, TE is an instructor at Durham Technical Community College in Durham, NC. She is a Cum Laude graduate of Appalachian State University where she received her B.F.A in Ceramics and Jewelry. She is also a Summa Cum Laude graduate from Durham Technical Community College where she received her A.A.S in Dental Laboratory Technology. After her time at Durham Tech she completed her RG and CDT exams to become certified in Complete Dentures. As a student at Durham Tech she was the recipient of the William Bill Rogers Scholarship as well as the Durham Tech Academic Excellence Award. Upon graduating Durham Tech she worked as a laboratory technician at an in-house dental office laboratory; NC Prosthodontic Specialists. Eventually she was offered the chance to return to Durham Tech as an instructor. Erin accepted the position, at heart, always wanting to be an art teacher. Outside of teaching she continues making art, playing games and spending time with her loving husband and two crazy dogs.
