Julia is currently the Lab Production Supervisor and Technical Consultant at Shanto Dental Ceramics Ltd., a fast growing, full-service lab located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Julia received her bachelor’s degree in science from the University of British Columbia. She then completed the two-year dental technology program and challenged the licensure exams to become a registered dental technician (RDT). Over the course of ten plus years at Shanto, Julia honed her skills in crown and bridge restorations from model to metal work, eventually specializing in fixed implant restorations.
Currently, she is thriving in her new role as supervisor, managing the production, organizing and continuously improving workflows, managing a growing team of 25 employees as well as communicating with dentists regarding treatment planning implant and complex restorative cases.
