Matt Everatt

Matt Everatt began his career as a dental technician, specialising in orthodontics and maxillofacial technology, spending thirteen years working in some of the UK's largest teaching hospitals before moving into the commercial laboratory sector.
During this time, he became heavily involved in occlusal splint therapy, treating patients with obstructive sleep apnoea and snoring. Twenty-one years ago, he co-founded S4S Dental Laboratory, building it into one of the UK's largest independent dental labs — and becoming the first co-founder to exit the business. Throughout his career, Matt has built a portfolio as a multi-business entrepreneur, with interests spanning property through Signature Property Partners Ltd, dento-legal services as co-founder of Clinical Protection Group Ltd, and board-level involvement with The Creative Composite and Smile Genius.
He's also a director and co-founder of a UK dental nurse recruitment agency, and an active angel investor with Sheffield Angels, backing early-stage businesses across multiple sectors. Outside the boardroom, Matt is a racing driver, competing in the Puma Cup series with his Mk1 Ford Puma. He holds FCGDent and FOTA fellowships, is the author of The Invisible Professional: Know Your Worth. Own Your Value, and serves as Editor-in-Chief of Laboratory Magazine — recently also becoming a host on Bridge the Gap Podcast UK.
