Matthew Douglas, CDT graduated from the Texas State Technical Institute, located
in Waco, Texas, in 1982. While attending school he earned his CDT in dentures. After
graduating, Douglas worked for an in-house denture clinic in Waco and then a private
practice for several years before going to work at Affordable Dentures and Implants. He
was the lead technical trainer there for twelve years. He decided to open his own lab,
Creative Solutions Dental Lab, and operates it at the present time. Douglas served as
Secretary Treasurer of the Dental Laboratory Association of Texas in 2016-2017 before
advancing to Vice President in 2017-2018 and then served two terms as president from
2018-2020.

While most dental laboratory conferences got shut down and rescheduled until 2021, Texas pushed their March show to October and still pulled it off. While we couldn't attend, Argen set up a computer and microphone and we still got to chat with some attendees. This week we have Matthew Douglas, Lauren Blanton, and Dr. John Buie.
