Nicole Jackson

Nicole Jackson, Certified Dental Technician (CDT) and Technologist (TE), is the Lead Faculty and Program Chair of the Dental Technician program at Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) in Milwaukee, WI. Jackson has served in these roles since she assumed these positions in August of 2020. With over 19 years in lab management and lead technician roles, her formal education includes a Dental Technician Technical Diploma (TD), Associate of Applied Science (AAS) with a major in Education and Training, and Supply Chain Management TD. In 2009, she earned her Certified Dental Technician certification in Ceramics and completed a Business Management Certificate with the NADL in 2020.
In addition to her heavily occupied responsibilities, Jackson is very involved in the industry as she currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Foundation for Dental Laboratory Technology and the JDT Communications Advisory Board. She continues to focus on development of her own personal education and mastery in skill set by attending dozens of in-person and virtual continuing education programs each year. She also reciprocates in kindness to the community while racing in the FDLT Race for the Future and participating in local volunteer opportunities regularly.
Jackson has a passion for the dental technology industry and remains committed to attaining the highest standards of professional excellence within the dental technology community through leadership, learning, advancement, demonstration, and educational delivery. She is a well-versed speaker and has been featured in several national dental publications.
In 2021 LMT Magazine named Nicole as one of the “Top 40 under 40 Technicians” in industry. In 2022 she received the NADL Educator of the Year Award and the NBC Certified Dental Technician of the Year Award.
