Rob Fletcher is the founder of ACES, a software platform designed to help dental laboratories eliminate the costly and time-consuming process of manual case entry. Rob’s professional roots began in Japanese automotive manufacturing, where he was deeply trained in Lean manufacturing principles and the Toyota Production System. That background shaped his focus on process improvement, efficiency, and building systems that reduce errors while improving workflow.
After transitioning into the dental laboratory industry, Rob spent more than a decade helping labs implement operational improvements, streamline workflows, and reduce inefficiencies in daily production. Through that work, he repeatedly saw the same challenge across the industry: the manual entry of RX information into lab management systems.
That experience led him to found ACES, a technology platform that uses OCR and AI to automatically read both paper and digital prescriptions and upload the relevant information directly into lab management systems. The goal is simple—eliminate manual entry, reduce mistakes, and help dental labs operate faster and more efficiently in a modern digital workflow.
Rob Fletcher has been a guest on 2 episodes.
