As a high-tech entrepreneur, Rob has commercialized several revolutionary technologies in various industries. Rob became involved with digital dentistry with Brontes Technologies which developed an intraoral scanner, later acquired by 3M. Rob and his team developed the digital workflow to enable dental laboratories to produce restorations from the scanner. In 2010, Rob co-founded Custom Automated Prosthetics (CAP), which provides digital manufacturing solutions to dental laboratories. CAP became part of Henry Schein / Zahn Dental in 2016. Rob is also a founding board member of Open Implants, a dental implant component manufacturer. Rob is currently the CEO of icortica, a software company he founded to help companies optimize share of wallet and customer retention. icortica is currently focused on serving dental laboratories.
Rob has a degree in Computer Science from Cornell University and has an extensive background in creating and commercializing new technologies in several industries including supply chain, residential services, network security and the dental industry.
