Dr. Zhiqiang Luo is a clinical instructor in the Department of Prosthodontics at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. His clinical and academic interests focus on digital dentistry, implant prosthodontics, full-mouth rehabilitation, and the integration of advanced digital technologies into modern dental workflows.
Before joining the University of Michigan, Dr. Luo spent over ten years in private practice and education in China, with extensive experience in implant surgery, esthetic rehabilitation, and digital restorative dentistry. He has lectured internationally on topics including digital smile design, full-arch implant rehabilitation, virtual patient workflows, and CAD/CAM technologies.
Dr. Luo’s current work emphasizes comprehensive 4D virtual patient workflows for esthetic and functional rehabilitation. He is also actively involved in research and education related to AI-driven digital dentistry and advanced prosthodontic treatment planning.
