Born and raised in North Carolina, Greg is a 1998 graduate of both the University of NC at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor’s in Biology, and Durham Technical Community College, where he graduated with Honors in 2001 and received his Associates in Dental Technology. Certified in Ceramics in 2008 and most recently as a Technologist, Greg is a former dental lab owner who specialized in Crown & Bridge and restorative esthetics. After owning his own lab for nearly 6 years, Greg transitioned to Territory Sales in the Southeastern US, continuing his love for dental technology as both a territory sales representative and technical support specialist with GC America, Inc. In 2014, Greg joined Renfert USA as a Regional Sales Manager covering the Eastern and Southeastern United States.
With nearly 20 years of experience in the industry, Greg has been recognized for not only his stellar reputation, but his success and his commitment to giving back to the industry that has given him so much. In 2012 he was honored as the Laboratory Salesman of the Year while with GC America, Inc. That same year Durham Technical Community College honored Greg for his dedication and generous service to the improvement of the Laboratory Program. In November 2013, Greg received the NCDLA Merit Award in recognition of his ongoing commitment and dedication to the NCDLA. Greg has served for several years with the Eastern Conference of Dental Laboratories planning committee and worked alongside the NCDLA in promoting the industry throughout the Southeastern US.
In April of 2019 Greg was promoted to National Director of Sales for Renfert USA, where he continues to work hand in hand with dealer partners across North America on how Renfert can help laboratories improve their efficiency in work flow processes and equipment. He also continues to present table clinics and attends continuing education events across the United States and Canada.
Greg is a proud father of 2 boys, Jackson and Landon, and for over 16 years, husband to wife Carolyn. He currently resides in North Wilkesboro, NC at the foot of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.
