Sander Polanco

Sander Polanco is the Owner at FMR Prosthetic Center in Staten Island, NY. He is a specialist in Implant & removable prosthetics and expert in the planning and development of high-end prostheses for many dental implant treatments. He was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Ever since he was a child he has been involved in Dentistry. His father Moises Polanco and Mother Kelly Cascante owned a dental clinic and operated an in-house dental laboratory in Ecuador. His family left Ecuador in 1990 and came to the United States seeking new opportunities and start a new life. In 2003 he graduated from New York City College of Technology with a BS Degree in Computer Systems Technology. Sander became a dental technician and continued his education with many technical and clinical programs around the US. Sander is a former faculty member as technician at the full mouth reconstruction program at New York University School of Dentistry. In addition, he currently is an Adjunct professor at CUNY New York City College of technology at the Restorative Dentistry Department where he teaches complete dentures.

Mr. Polanco is now utilizing some of the most advanced equipment available in the dental field to provide his clients a full digital workflow. He also is the Oral Architect for fixed treatments and full mouth rehabilitation applying CAD/CAM technology and Digital Smile Design. He is one of the few technician fabricating telescopic implant bridges such as the Deutsch Telescopic Bridge Zr. in the US. Sander saw the challenges that many of his colleagues had in the area of digital dentistry so he started holding trainings, Lectures and courses on 3shape, blueskybio, meshmixer and various other top dental software. As the field went more digital he saw the need to bring together a group of some of the top CAD/CAM technicians and dentists around the world to help other technicians quickly transition into this new era of Digital Dentistry.
