Scott & Randi James

Randi & Scott James are the co-owners of Renstrom Dental Studio, a full service family owned dental laboratory located in St Paul, Minnesota. Started by Randi's Grandfather in 1966, and then owned by her Father & Uncle, Randi & Scott were proud to continue the family legacy in 2019, when they became the third generation owners.

Although not a technician, Randi takes pride in continuing the tradition to ensure Renstrom is providing superior quality and service to their doctors around the country. Randi oversees day to day operations, with a goal of providing an open environment to allow technicians to take pride in their work and grow their talents. She was a past board member of the Midwest Dental Laboratory Association, and a 2018 graduate of the NADL University. She enjoys being involved with Century College’s Dental Advisory Board, as well as other local schools to help bring awareness of the great career opportunities in dental technology.

Scott joined the dental industry in 2017 when Scott & Randi decided they may want to continue on with the family laboratory. Scott's experience in graphic design and digital print transferred nicely to dental technology, and he spent his first year in the industry traveling the country taking in over 100 hours of CE courses, with a dental client and friend of Renstrom. He now oversees the new technology within the lab, does surgical guides and implant treatment plans with doctors, as well as keeps the lab motivated and driven to keep up with all the advances taking place within the industry. Scott currently is involved with a local Spear Study Club, the WIADE Study Club out of Madison WI, was a 2018 graduate of the NADL University, and featured in LMT's 40 Under 40 in 2021.
Outside of the lab, Scott & Randi enjoy traveling, and spending time with their two children Hailey & Bryant.
