Barb is a BIG fan of labs that are in their second or third generation of owners. As she took over for her dad, we have found out that there are many in our industry. Which says a lot about what we do. While at LMT Lab Day East 2019, Elvis and Barb talked to two families who tell the tale of starting in a spare room and eventually a child comes in to help and take it into the digital workflow. First up is father and son team Michael and Joe Young from Young Dental Lab right there in Philadelphia. The we talk to a mother and daughter from a orthodontics lab. Jane Hyatt started her lab in her parent’s basement and eventually Kristen Benitez came into the lab to help them become a leader in ortho digital workflow.
